Executive Chef – Jess S Housman
He started working in the restaurant business in the mid-80’s. He began as a dishwasher at A Mexican Food restaurant on Cape Cod called Sam Diego’s. After a few months he was promoted to Prep Cook and then quickly promoted to Line Cook. As soon he got on the line and got thru my first night he was completely hooked. After working in several more restaurants he decided to go to Boston University and attend their new Chef Program. While attending, he worked with such chefs as Jacques Pepin, Julia Child, Todd English & Marcella Hazan. After successfully completing BU’s chef Program I worked as Sous Chef at Spinazzola’s Restaurant, The Chanterelle and La Alouette.
He moved to Naples and got a job at Michaels Café as sous chef. Then became the opening Chef at Bistro 821. He also helped open Bistro 41 in Ft. Myers as well as being the opening chef at Zoë’s here in Naples.
